New Buffalo Middle School Bulletin for Thursday, April 18, 2024
Homework Club: A quiet location for academic support with a New Buffalo MS teacher and a free snack is available after school on TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS ONLY from 3:30 - 4:45 pm. Additionally, New Buffalo provides transportation home free of charge for students who live in district. If your child would like to be a part of this program, they must go to the Homework Club location after school and sign-in.
Chess Club: Meets every Thursday in Mrs. Bauer's room from 3:30 - 4:30.
Make Cancer Extinct 5K: The Annual 5K for New Buffalo Area Schools will be held on Monday, May 13th at 1:50pm. Please join us at the football field and help raise money for Berrien County Cancer Service, Inc. Participants can run a full 5K course while also enjoying fun activities like face painting, a dunk tank, ice cream, music by Jammin' with Jerry and more!
PSAT8: All 8th grade students will take the PSAT8 during the school day on Tuesday, April 23rd.
Spring Blood Drive: NBHS is sponsoring a spring blood drive on Thursday, May 2nd in the Gym from 8:30AM-1:30PM. If you would like to donate, you can sign-up using this link. Our goal is 25 donations!
Half Day School/Parent Teacher Conferences: Thursday, April 25th is a half day of school. Students will dismiss at 11:50. Parent Teacher Conferences will take place in person from 1:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Please see your Parent Newsletter and conference mailings for further details.
Professional Development Day: There is no school for students on Friday, April 26th.
