New Buffalo Middle School Bulletin for Tuesday, November 18, 2025
Study Tables: A quiet location for academic support with a New Buffalo MS teacher and a free snack is available after school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:45 pm. Additionally, New Buffalo provides transportation home free of charge for students who live in district. If your child would like to be a part of this program, they must go to the Study Tables location after school and sign-in.
Bison Pride Field Trip:
Students qualifying for the First Trimester Incentive Field Trip will travel to Wonderland Cinema on Monday, December 1st to see Zootopia 2. Qualifying students will receive admission ticket, popcorn, and beverage for free. Trip qualifications are:
* All As, Bs, or Cs in all classes
* No ISS or OSS
* No Detentions
Spelling Bee:
Spelling Bee practices are in Ms. Cooper's room from 3:30 - 4:30 pm on the following dates:

Give-Back Event: Sonny D's is hosting a give-back event to benefit the NBMS 8th grade Washington DC trip. On Thursday, November 20th, Sonny D's will donate 15% of sales from anyone who mentions they are there for the middle school give-back night.

Thursday, November 20 - Half Day of School - 2nd & 3rd Hour Exam
Friday, November 21 - Half Day of School - 4th Hour Exam
Empty Bowls Fundraiser: NBHS Student Senate will be hosting their 14th Annual Empty Bowls benefit dinner on Friday, December 12th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the MS/HS cafeteria. Proceeds from the dinner will go the the Blessings in a Backpack program, which assists New Buffalo students in need. A donation of $10 will provide guests with a ceramic bowl made by a New Buffalo Area Schools student, and a meal of soup with crackers, a beverage, and dessert. Thank you in advance for your support of this great cause!
Student Vocal Recital: Middle School Chorus students will present a vocal recital on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00pm in the NBAS Performing Arts Center. All district students and families are welcome to attend.
Lost and Found: Our Middle School Lost and Found area is overflowing! All students and/or parents are encouraged to check for misplaced belongings. ALL items remaining in the Lost and Found after the end of the school day on Friday, November 21st WILL BE DONATED!
Thanksgiving Break: There is no school Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume on Monday, December 1st.
