New Buffalo Middle School Bulletin for Sunday, February 01, 2026

Spelling Bee: Spelling Bee practices are in Ms. Cooper's room from 3:30 - 4:30 pm on the following dates:

    Wednesday, February 4
    Wednesday, February 11
    Wednesday, February 18
    Spelling Bee Competition at the LMC Mendel Center is Tuesday, February 24th!

Study Tables: A quiet location for academic support with a New Buffalo MS teacher and a free snack is available after school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:45 pm. Additionally, New Buffalo provides transportation home free of charge for students who live in district. If your child would like to be a part of this program, they must go to the Study Tables location after school and sign-in.

Middle School Ski Trip: Middle school students will travel to Timber Ridge Ski Resort for a day of skiing,snowboarding, and tubing on Tuesday, February 3rd. Buses will depart from the school at 8:30am and return at 6:00pm on the field trip day. Students will need transportation home from the school at 6:00pm. All field trip registration forms and money were due no later than Friday, January 9th. This will be a regular day of school for students opting out of the trip. THINK SNOW!

Bison Pride Field Trip: Students qualifying for the Second Trimester Incentive Field Trip will travel to City Lanes for a morning of fun bowling and socializing with peers. Second Trimester qualification criteria are:

    * All As, Bs, or Cs in all classes
    * No ISS or OSS
    * No Detentions
    * Fewer than 5 absences or tardies

Mobile Dentist: The in-school dentist is coming to New Buffalo Area Schools on Friday, March 20th. Register online today at www.myschooldentist.com.
